The selenium extraction slime consumption capacity was down to 81%. Project objective was to reduce the bottleneck capacity and increase the productivity to 120%. Results: Consumption capacity increased to 120% of design capacity; Increase in selenium production by 20% Selenium recovery increased to > 96% as against design of 95%. Benefits - $800,000.
