Type of Team: Process Improvement
Team 99’s goal was to improve the required processes by developing electronic procedures and reducing multiple record keeping logs. The team used brainstorming, SIPOC, 5 whys, action planning, root cause analysis, and waste identification to improve the system that was not user-friendly and to increase process efficiency and quality. The team reduced the man-hours associated with submitting, logging, and processing through revising paper-based quality related forms and creating a single record log.
