Proposal Requirements
Session Type
- Concurrent Session – 45-minute sessions that are meant to present real applications, real results, and provide attendees with real solutions that can be implemented immediately. These types of presentations provided a high degree of value to the hundreds of people that attend the conference.
- Multi-Session – A series of up to three, 45-minute sessions submitted by an ASQ division, forum, or interest group, or by an individual. The collection of sessions should address a topic(s) in a manner that leads attendees from an identified beginning point through a logical ending point that is clearly identified with the expansion of the related body of knowledge. Each of the session segments will be reviewed together and accepted or rejected as a group. Multi-sessions replace submissions previously known as tracks.
- After 5 Session (Monday 5:15 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.) – These exciting and innovative sessions are less formal than concurrent sessions and cover a myriad of topics that may or may not relate directly to quality in the traditional sense. The sessions are 75 minutes long and include a social component, which adds to the level of interaction between the facilitator and the participants as well as the participants and their peers. These sessions will not be reviewed by technical paper reviewers and will be selected solely by the technical program committee (TPC).
