Aldine Independent School District — Aldine ISD Peer Review Team
Houston, TX USA
Presentation: Tuesday, May 19, 9:15 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Location: MCC – 200D
Type of Team: Improvement
Using a peer review assessment model enabled the senior leaders of the Aldine Independent School District to determine the level of deployment of the strategic objectives and goals; use data and process documentation to find instructional approaches that resulted in high levels of academic success for students, and capture best practices and share knowledge of breakthrough operational and support process improvements. Peer review teams used data analysis tools, process measures of effectiveness and efficiencies, root cause analysis, benchmarking, and balanced scorecards. These tools and methods are aligned and linked to the district’s strategic objectives, goals, and strategies. Using the Baldrige criteria accelerated the district’s journey to excellence and helped them reach their vision of “producing the nation’s best.”
