Type of Team: Six Sigma

The Commercial Benefit Summary team, following the Six Sigma Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control methodology transformed a manual process into an automated system. The new system produces Benefit Summaries in minutes instead of weeks without manual intervention, and with world class quality. The project occurred in the front end of the business within a non-traditional area for Six Sigma — Sales and Marketing. This strategic project better aligned stakeholders toward meeting the company's vision of Perfect Service, and the benefits continue with new opportunities in the front end for other continuous improvement efforts.
